August 10, 2021: Lugiami Entertainment, an esports and media organisation today announced their partnership with Longhouse Films, a Malaysian integrated movie company and production house.
The strategic partnership will see the all-women gaming organisation step up their production capabilities and produce world-class content together with Longhouse Films.
In addition, Longhouse Films will be producing documentary films about the journey of an esports athlete, while giving viewers unparalleled access to esports content production.
Total esports viewership is expected to grow at a 9% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2019 and 2023, up from 454 million in 2019 to 646 million in 2023.
This exponential growth signals the need to create content to provide understanding in this market segment.
Longhouse Films is a Malaysia based integrated movie company with the aim to bring Asia to the world. Longhouse Films is founded by a well-known international executive producer, Mr Jon Chiew, from Kuching, Sarawak. Longhouse has extensive experience in film, TV and web-series, animation and music.
